About this accessory
Skid shoes carry the weight of the auger housing and set how close the scraper runs to the ground. Steel shoes are the usual choice on gravel, older concrete and uneven surfaces where wear is high.
Each shoe is reversible, so once the first edge wears down it can be flipped and used again before replacement. Sold as a pair with mounting hardware.
